She attended the New York University's Film School and studied screenwriting and directing. Moved to Los Angeles, she studied acting two years under Joanne Baron. In addition to her acting career she continued modeling which she started at the age of 14 in Hawaii.

Hubbard played supporting roles in the film The Hitch-Hikers (1989) and in the television film Rosemary (1992, with Marc Alaimo and Time Winters). She also had a guest role as Melissa in the Ellen episode "Adam's Birthday" (1994, with Brian Cousins) and played a nurse in the Playtypus Man episode "Out of the Mouths of Babes" (1995, with Brian George). Other projects include an episode of the television series Ohara and several commercials such as one for Sprite.
