James Lomas is a professional dart player who appeared as a Nausicaan bodyguard in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episode "Bar Association". As a background performer he received no on-screen credit for this appearance. The story for this episode required two performers who had experience in playing dart and Lomas took the role alongside fellow dart player Shawn McConnell. Both Lomas and McConnell also worked as dart advisors for Deep Space Nine.
This appearance is his only known on-screen acting experience.
