Jay Underwood (born 1 October 1968; age 55) played Mortimer Harren on the Star Trek: Voyager episode "Good Shepherd".

He appeared in the 1986 film The Boy Who Could Fly in which he played the part of the title character Eric Gibb, an autistic boy who lived with his alcoholic uncle Hugo Gibb (played by Fred Gwynne).

He also starred as the android Chip Carson in the television movies Not Quite Human (1987), Not Quite Human II (1989) and Still Not Quite Human (1992) distributed by Disney.
