Jeffrey Pierce was a Starfleet ensign who joined the crew of the Enterprise NX-01 in 2154, after its return from the Delphic Expanse. Prior to joining the crew of Enterprise, Pierce read every mission transcript in an attempt to prepare himself for his tour of duty.

During Enterprise's mission into the Borderland to locate a group of Human augments who had murdered the crew of a Klingon Bird-of-Prey, Pierce was one of nine crewmembers abducted by the Orion Syndicate and taken to a processing center on Verex III to be auctioned off as slaves. While there, the crewmembers were outfitted with neurolytic restraints designed to cause a fatal seizure should any slave attempt to leave the premises. While awaiting auction, Pierce was reunited with Commander T'Pol, another Enterprise crewmember who had been abducted. T'Pol assisted Pierce in remaining calm while awaiting rescue by Enterprise.

Eventually, Pierce was purchased by Captain Archer, who bribed an Orion guard to deactivate the restraint but leave it on. Taking Pierce back to Enterprise, Archer had the restraint removed, and Commander Tucker was able to devise a means to deactivate all of the restraints in the complex, resulting in a mass escape attempt which allowed the Enterprise crew to retrieve their shipmates. (ENT: "Borderland")

Pierce was played by actor Dave Power.
