Joe Piscopo (born 17 June 1951; age 72) is a stand-up comic and actor who appeared as the Comic in the Star Trek: The Next Generation second season episode "The Outrageous Okona".

Piscopo was part of the Saturday Night Live cast from 1980-84 (working with Charles Rocket during his first year) – Malcolm McDowell and Sally Kellerman would host the show in his first season, Brandon Tartikoff and Terri Garr in his last. One of his most memorable impressions on that show was Frank Sinatra.

Following his SNL success, Piscopo embarked on a short-lived movie career. He starred in a number of films, such as The House of God (1984, with George Coe, James Cromwell, and Patricia McNulty), Johnny Dangerously (1984, with Ray Walston, Chuck Hicks, Danny Nero, and Vincent Schiavelli), Wise Guys (1986), and Dead Heat (1988, with Robert Picardo, Keye Luke, and Beth Toussaint), in which Piscopo does an impression of Hikaru Sulu.

In the 1990s and 2000s, Piscopo appeared sporadically on television and in a number of (mostly low-budget independent) films. His credits include Sidekicks (1992, with Julia Nickson and Gerrit Graham), Huck and the King of Hearts (1994, with Ed Trotta), Open Season (1995, with Conrad Coates and Saul Rubinek), and Bartleby (2001, with Seymour Cassel). He made three guest appearances on Law & Order between 1999 and 2004 (one with Richard Libertini) and one on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit in 2018 (with Fionnula Flanagan).

He also did voice acting on a number of projects, including the 1993-95 The Pink Panther animated series (with Matt Frewer, Jess Harnell, Wallace Shawn, Hamilton Camp, Maurice LaMarche, Brian George, Kenneth Mars, Jennifer Hale, and Tress MacNeille), an episode of Batman: The Animated Series (with Earl Boen), and 100 Deeds for Eddie McDowd (with Brenda Strong), where also played a recurring live-action role.
