John Franklyn-Robbins (born 14 December 1931; age 92) is the actor who played Macias in the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode "Preemptive Strike".
Franklyn-Robbins also played a Time Lord in the 1975 Doctor Who story "Genesis of the Daleks". He is therefore, like Alan Dale, Barrie Ingham, Daphne Ashbrook, Christopher Neame, Guy Siner, Maurice Roëves and Olaf Pooley, one of the very small number of actors to have speaking roles in both the Star Trek and Doctor Who franchises.
