John Gillespie is a stuntman and stunt actor who appeared as a security officer in the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode "The Hunted". Although he had dialogue in this episode, he received no credit for his role.
Among his film and television resume are projects such as The Ice Pirates (1984, with Mary Crosby, Ron Perlman, Robert Symonds, Ian Abercrombie, and Al Jones), Miracle Mile (1988, with Denise Crosby, Brian Thompson, Jenette Goldstein, Robert DoQui, Earl Boen, Raphael Sbarge, William Schallert, and Dennis Madalone) where he was also the aerial coordinator, Chopper Chicks in Zombietown (1991, with Dennis Madalone, Lycia Naff, Earl Boen, Rob King, and Lynn Salvatori), Super Mario Bros. (1993, with Frank Welker, Doug Coleman, and Eliza Coleman), The Usual Suspects (1995, with Jack Shearer, Castulo Guerra, Diamond Farnsworth, and directed by Bryan Singer), and Scenes of the Crime (2001, with Mädchen Amick, Bob Gunton, Justin Louis, Amy Wieczorek, and Vince Deadrick, Jr.).
