Template:Realworld Jonathon Grant is an actor and model who has a role in the Star Trek Into Darkness. He auditioned for this role on 1 December 2011 and started filming on 19 January 2012. [1]
Born in Ozark, Missouri, he moved to New York at the age of 19 to pursue a career as an actor and artist. He attended dance classes and was soon cast to perform in national plays such as "Fosse", "Oklahoma!", "Aida", and "Carousel". Further plays he worked on include "Grease", "Fiddler on the Roof", and "Three Spoons: A Play". In 2006 he attended the Columbia University in New York and graduated with a BA in English and Comparative Literature in 2009. In late 2011 he moved to Los Angeles, California to pursue a career in film and television.
As an actor he appeared in episodes of All My Children, Gossip Girl, Royal Pains, and Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23 and was cast for productions such as the student films City Boy, In a Heartbeat, and All I Ever Wanted (2011). With a featured part in the web series Diary of a Wedding Planner, he got his SAG card.
