Jones was a crewmember on the USS Voyager during the ship's trek across the Delta Quadrant.
In 2373 Jones was one of a number of officers who participated in Tom Paris' gambling operation out of the Chez Sandr?ne holoprogram. Replicator rations were paid to play and whoever predicted what the radiogenic particle count would be at 1200 hours the following day would win the rations of everyone who played, minus a small handling fee for the bank (Lt. Paris). Jones' name was among those called out when the numbers were generated. (VOY: "Meld") Jones' rank and current status are unknown.
