Karen Austin (born 24 October 1954; age 69) is an actress who has appeared in both Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and Star Trek: Voyager. She played Doctor Kalandra in "Nor the Battle to the Strong" and Miral in "Barge of the Dead."
She was a regular on the first season of Night Court with John Larroquette and recently played Sister Ignaious in Steven Spielberg's "Taken" series.
From 1995 to 1996, Austin starred in the short-lived series Live Shot. Other Star Trek stars who were also cast members include David Birney, Ron Canada, Jeff Yagher, Bruce McGill and Sam Anderson. Star Trek stars who guest starred include Casey Biggs, Chase Masterson, Dion Anderson, John Schuck, Lee Arenberg, Hal Landon, Jr., Cully Fredricksen and Kenneth Tigar.
