Kelemane's planet (aka "The Weird Planet Displaced in Time") was a planet in the Delta Quadrant. Tuvok described the planet as having, "gravimetric readings similar to that of a collapsed dwarf star and a rapid rotation rate like a quasar". It was also unusual due to its tachyon core, which generated a subspace particle field that ran between the poles. When USS Voyager encountered the planet in 2376, it was pulled into its orbit by a gravimetric gradient. The ship disrupted the field, causing high-frequency seismic activity on the surface.

On the surface of the planet, time was greatly accelerated compared to that of normal space. A rotation of the planet occurred 58 times per one minute observed from normal space. The native humanoid species experienced one day about every 1.03 seconds.

In 2376, while Voyager was trapped in orbit, the captain's assistant Naomi Wildman wrote a report about the planet for her astronomy class. The report was titled "The Weird Planet Displaced in Time". The presence of Voyager caused seismic disruptions that threatened the planet's long-term survival after they became caught in the planet's gravitational pull. The native species later pulled them out of orbit, and developed temporal compensation technology that would allow them to exist in the wider galaxy, though it would take time before they could join the rest of the galaxy. Background information[]

The planet was not named in dialogue, except as the title of Naomi's report, and so is named for one of its inhabitants, Kelemane. The Star Trek Encyclopedia (4th ed., vol. 1, p. 312) identified this planet as Gotana's planet, after the astronaut Gotana-Retz who discovered the "Sky Ship" (Voyager). According to Star Trek: Star Charts (p. 93), this planet, identified as the Tachyon-Core Planet, was visited by Voyager on stardate 53520. Star Trek: The Magazine Volume 2, Issue 3, p. 106, also refers to the planet as the tachyon core planet.

According to the short story Eighteen Minutes, which depicts The Doctor's three years living among the people, this planet was called Tahal-Meeroj by its natives.
