Template:Realworld Kenneth Andrew Olandt (born 22 April 1958; age 65) is the actor who played Jason Vigo in the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode "Bloodlines".
One of his earliest television credits was the 1984 movie The Imposter, co-starring Star Trek: Deep Space Nine actress and fellow TNG season 7 guest star Penny Johnson. That same year, he was cast in the action series Riptide, which lasted until 1986. He also had guest appearances on such series as The A-Team (with Dwight Schultz and Lance LeGault), Airwolf (with Lance LeGault and Gregory Sierra), and Lifelines (with Sally Kellerman), before starring with Robert Hooks in the short-lived Supercarrier and having a one-year stint on the soap opera The Young and the Restless. He also appeared with W. Morgan Sheppard in the 1987 TV special Gunsmoke: Return to Dodge, directed by Vincent McEveety. Ken starred in the short lived 1990s syndicated science fiction series Super Force (with Musetta Vander) as Det. Zachary Stone.
This was followed by appearances on Murder, She Wrote (with William Windom), Doogie Howser, M.D. (with Lawrence Pressman and James B. Sikking), Sisters (with Ashley Judd), Silk Stalkings (with Clint Howard), Pacific Blue (with David L. Lander and Robert Pine), Renegade (with Marshall R. Teague), and JAG (with Jennifer Savidge), as well as the 1990 TV movie Laker Girls, which also featured Jean Simmons. He also has several feature film credits to his name, including the 1986 horror movie April Fool's Day (with Clayton Rohner and Jay Baker), the 1987 comedy Summer School (starring Kirstie Alley), 1993's Leprechaun (with Mark Holton), and the starring role in the 1995 sci-fi thriller Digital Man, co-starring Chase Masterson, Ed Lauter and Clint Howard.
Today, he continues to act but is also a producer for the Unified Film Organization (UFO), a production company specializing in low-budget science fiction and horror movies. He also starred or appeared in a number of these productions, beginning with 1996's Darkdrive. Among the other movies his company has produced are Velocity Trap (1997, starring Olandt and Craig Wasson), Interceptors (1999, starring Brad Dourif), Falcon Down (2000, starring William Shatner), Epoch (2000, with Brian Thompson and Craig Wasson), Deep Core (2000, starring Terry Farrell, Bruce McGill, and Wil Wheaton), Python (2000, also starring Wil Wheaton), Lost Voyage (2001, with Jeff Kober and Robert Pine, New Alcatraz (with Mark A. Sheppard and Craig Wasson), Landspeed (2002, starring Ray Wise), Dark Waters (2003, with Bruce Gray), Dragon Storm (2004, with John Rhys-Davies), Darklight (2004, with John de Lancie), and Manticore (2005, starring Chase Masterson).
