'''Kila Marr''' was a scientist who spent her life studying the [[Crystalline Entity]]. The Enterprise encountered the entity on Melona IV. The entity had attacked the planet. After beaming the surviving colonists on board the Enterprise, Picard asks Dr. Marr to investigate the creature along iwth Data's help. At first she does not want to do this because it was Data's brother, Lore who lured the creature to Omicron Theta where her son was killed. However, her and Data uncover valuable information about the creature. When she learns that Captain Picard does not intend to destroy the creature, but rather try to communicate with it she becomes upset.

Kila Marr was a scientist who spent her life studying the Crystalline Entity. The Enterprise encountered the entity on Melona IV. The entity had attacked the planet. After beaming the surviving colonists on board the Enterprise, Picard asks Dr. Marr to investigate the creature along iwth Data's help. At first she does not want to do this because it was Data's brother, Lore who lured the creature to Omicron Theta where her son was killed.
