Klaa's Bird-of-Prey was a Klingon Bird-of-Prey that was in service with the Klingon Imperial Fleet in the late 23rd century. In 2287. this ship was commanded by Captain Klaa.

In 2287, while under Klaa's command, this ship was responsible for destroying the Earth probe Pioneer 10. Klaa's ship later attempted to intercept the USS Enterprise-A at Nimbus III, and proceeded to follow the Enterprise through the Great Barrier. However, the ship was commandeered by both General Korrd and Captain Spock, forcing Klaa and the others to stand down. Spock took advantage of the disrupter to destroy the entity and save Kirk's life. (Star Trek V: The Final Frontier)

The menu screen on the Star Trek V: The Final Frontier (Special Edition) DVD described the ship as a "Bird-of-Prey D12-class." This would make it the same class as the vessel used by the Duras sisters when they fought the Enterprise-D at Veridian III

In the novelization of the movie, this ship is called the Okrona – this name was noted by TrekMovie.com during the 20th anniversary of the film's release. [1] The Star Trek Customizable Card Game gives its name as IKS Chontay.

Klaa's ship later attempted to intercept the {{USS|Enterprise|NCC-1701-A|-A}} at [[Nimbus III]], Kirk and company find themselves aboard the shuttlecraft with Sybok and an armed contingent of followers, including the three ambassadors, flying towards the ''Enterprise'', but their approach is interrupted by the approach of the Klingon ship, which immediately moves to attack the ''Enterprise''. Though the ''Enterprise'' can't dock a shuttlecraft with the shields up, Kirk improvises a plan to land the craft and immediately send the ship to warp; this plan succeeds, and the shuttlecraft crashes at full speed into the shuttlebay as the ''Enterprise'' zips away from the Klingons. Once safely on board, Spock orders Scotty to beam Kirk on board, but an attack from Klaa once again disables the transporter. Klaa hails the disabled ''Enterprise'' to demand Kirk's surrender. Spock informs Klaa that Kirk is on the planet's surface, and Klaa responds by demanding his coordinates. Spock implores Korrd to reason with Klaa in Klingon terms, which Korrd reluctantly agrees to do.Though he is trapped by it, Klaa's Bird-of-Prey suddenly appears and destroys the being with a single shot. Kirk is then beamed up to safety. General Koord orders Klaa to apologize for his aggression, which he begrudgingly obliges and admits the attack was taken on his own authority. Korrd then draws Kirk's attention to the man at the gunner station, who reveals himself to be none other than Spock – it was he who fired the disruptors and saved the captain's life. Kirk laments that he believed he was going to die, but, Spock corrects him, telling Kirk he was never alone. Kirk is about to hug Spock in gratitude, but Spock suggests it would be better not to do so in front of the Klingons. The crews of both ships have a brief celebration aboard the ''Enterprise'' before peacefully parting ways. While the three diplomats from Nimbus III reflect on their voyage, Klaa extends a salute of respect to Kirk.
