Wu
The Kohm are one of two ethnic groups on the planet Omega IV who, centuries ago, fought a terrible bacteriological war against the Yangs. Kohms were culturally parallel to Earth's 20th century Asian Communists. After the wars the civilization was nearly destroyed. Like the Yangs they happened to have developed powerful natural immune systems, and had extraordinarily long life spans.
Captain Ronald Tracey of the starship USS Exeter contacted the Kohms in 2268 and intended to regain his youth with their help. In return he tried to persuade starship captain Kirk of the USS Enterprise to supply the Kohms with modern phasers. (TOS: "The Omega Glory")
