The Kriosian system (also known as the Krios system) was an inhabited star system. A planet in this system, Krios Prime, was inhabited. The Ikalian asteroid belt was located in this system. This system was located in the region between Sectors 21166 and 22079.
The USS Enterprise-D visited the system twice, in late 2367 and in 2368. (TNG: "The Mind's Eye", "The Perfect Mate")
According to the Star Trek: Star Charts, on page 63, the primary was a Class G star. It had a magnitude of +5, which was the same brightness as Sol.
