In 2129, his supply ship left the Kantare colony on Kotara Barath for his homeworld, but was forced to crash-land on an uninhabited planet due to an ion storm.
Kuulan died in the incident though Ezral later recreated a hologram of Kuulan identical in appearance and personality. When an away team of Enterprise NX-01 landed on the planet, Kuulan appeared to them and asked Trip Tucker to help repair the ship's computer. He would lead a band of holographic Kantare in attacking Tucker and T'Pol in order to force them to repair the ship. His existence was wiped out when Liana, a survivor of the crash, shut down the data chips from a console, causing each Kantare in turn to disappear. (ENT: "Oasis")
Kuulan was played by actor Rudolph Willrich.
