Lakanta

Lakanta was apparently a tribal member of the Native American civilization on Dorvan V. He would approach Wesley Crusher, whose spirit was troubled as to his future. He told him that he saw Wesley Crusher in a vision quest that he performed and had been waiting two years to meet Wesley. Lakanta tells him that he can provide answers to his questions.

Lakanta would take Wesley to a Habak, a traditional Indian place where one can begin their vision quest. Wesley would meet his deceased father in his vision quest who tells him to follow his own path, not his father's path. Wesley would help stop a war between the colonists and Cardassians, and that moment Lakanta later revealed himself to be the Traveler. Together they would begin a new journey. (TNG: "Journey's End")

Lakanta was played by Canadian actor Tom Jackson.
