He is perhaps best known for his portrayal of Joseph Arlington Aynders on the television series Dynasty, from 1981 through 1983. Co-starring with him on this series was fellow TOS guest performer Joan Collins.
Bergere also co-starred with James Cromwell on the short-lived 1975 sitcom Hot L Baltimore and also had a recurring role as Justin Nash during the eighth season of Falcon Crest.
