Liz Vassey (born 9 August 1972; age 51) is the actress who played Kristin in the Star Trek: The Next Generation fifth season episode "Conundrum". She filmed her scenes for this episode on Tuesday 26 November 1991 on Paramount Stage 9.

She is perhaps best known for playing the superhero Captain Liberty on The Tick, which lasted only nine episodes from 2001 through 2002. David Burke starred in this series as Arthur, while Christopher Lloyd guest-starred in the pilot and Armin Shimerman played the villain in the last episode. Prior to this, Vassey was a regular on the daytime soap opera All My Children, playing Emily Ann Sago Martin from 1988 through 1991, and later became a regular on the sitcom Brotherly Love from 1995 through 1997.

Vassey also had recurring roles on ER (with Shelly Desai, Miguel Ferrer, Douglas Rowe, Herta Ware, Sam Anderson, Anne Haney, David Gautreaux, and Ron Taylor), Push, Nevada (with Steven Culp), and Tru Calling (with Erick Avari and William Sadler) and has made guest appearances on Quantum Leap (starring Scott Bakula and Dean Stockwell) and the remake of Fantasy Island (starring Malcolm McDowell and Mädchen Amick). She later appeared as Wendy Simms on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (2005-2010), working often with Paul Guilfoyle and Wallace Langham; the episode "A Space Oddity", which Naren Shankar wrote, spoofed Trek and also featured Kate Vernon and Ronald D. Moore.

She co-starred with Daniel Riordan, Ron Perlman, and Nichelle Nichols in The Adventures of Captain Zoom in Outer Space (1995). Five years later, she was directed by Robert Duncan McNeill for his short film 9mm of Love, co-starring Ethan Phillips.

Later credits include the drama series 9ine (2011, with Wallace Langham), guest roles in Castle (2011, with Gregg Daniel and Dennis Madalone), Necessary Roughness (2011, with Concetta Tomei), and Two and a Half Men (2011, with Jeri Ryan), and Sexting in Suburbia (2012) on which she also worked as associate producer.
