Logan Frazee has worked on many feature films including Star Trek: Insurrection, Star Trek: Generations and Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country. In these films Frazee was credited in Special effects production. He made artificial effects used to create illusions in the films. These were effects produced on the set, as opposed to those created in post-production known as "visual effects."

In a long list of films that Frazee worked on, he held the following titles:

special effects supervisor

mechanical effects
special effects technician
mechanical effects technician
special effectsman

In 1980 Frazee won an Academy Award for Technical Achievement. The Technical Achievement Award was awarded to him for the development of a device to control flight patterns of miniature airplanes during motion picture photography. This was not an award given for work on a Star Trek film.

Logan has a son Terry Frazee who he began teaching Special Effects production in the early 1960s. Terry Frazee went on to follow in his fathers footsteps working on films including Star Trek titles.
