Lokar beans were a Ferengi food that were served as a complimentary dish at Quark's.

After the interesting first contact with the Wadi, Benjamin Sisko remarked to Jake that "I've done nothing for the past six hours but eat Ferengi lokar beans." (DS9: "Move Along Home")

Several weeks later, a shipment of lokar beans arrived at Deep Space 9. Nog asked Quark if he could store them above the yamok sauce. (DS9: "Progress")

In 2370, at the advice of Pel, Quark replaced lokar beans with Gramilian sand peas as a means to increase his profits. (DS9: "Rules of Acquisition")
