Los Angeles on a family tree
Los Angeles, also known as LA, California was a port city in the United States of America, North America, Earth. This city was located on the Pacific coastline. (TOS: "The Cage")
In 1989, Ginger Summers, the future wife of Edward Raymond, was born in this city. (TNG: "The Neutral Zone", okudagram)
In 1996, the headquarters of Chronowerx Industries was located in Los Angeles. Tuvok commented that the thermal and ultraviolet radiation in California, where LA was located, were at hazardous levels.
In 2047, the Hermosa Earthquake caused the region around the city to sink under two hundred meters of water, creating one of the world's largest coral reefs, home to thousands of marine species. (VOY: "Future's End", "Future's End, Part II")
