Scheimer accepts the Daytime Emmy for "Best Children's Program"

Louis "Lou" Scheimer (19 October 192817 October 2013; age 84) was one of the co-founders of Filmation, a producer on Star Trek: The Animated Series, and voiced three characters in the series. Scheimer worked on other popular animated shows from the 1960s to the 1980s, including The New Adventures of Superman (1966-1970), Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids (1972-1984), and He-Man and the Masters of the Universe (1983-1985, with the voices of Alan Oppenheimer and Michael Bell).

Scheimer passed away two days before his 85th birthday on 17 October 2013. [1]
