Template:Realworld Louis "Lou" Slaughter is an actor and stuntman who was a regular extra throughout the first seasons of Star Trek: Voyager. Beside his acting work, he performed also utility stunts on Voyager under stunt coordinator Dennis Madalone. As an extra, he received no on-screen credits for his appearances.

Slaughter is an experienced stuntman with skills in martial arts, firearm handling, and motorcycle work. With an army background of four years, he studied acting in Ontario, New York, and Los Angeles. Slaughter has appeared in several stage plays and commercials and is also a voice actor.

Slaughter has performed roles in films including Demolition Man (1993, with Bob Gunton, Bill Cobbs, Tracee Lee Cocco, and Francis Praksti), Spike Lee's comedy Girl 6 (1996, with Debra Wilson), the comic adaptation Barb Wire (1996, with Shelly Desai, Diana Lee Inosanto, and Clint Howard), David Lynch's Lost Highway (1997), Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas (1998), also as stand-in for lead actor Benicio del Torro, and the sequel Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle (2003). He has performed stunts in the fantasy film Steel (1997, with Charles Napier, Kerrie Keane, Eric Pierpoint, and Gary Graham), the television movie Tales from the Crypt: Demon Knight (1995, starring William Sadler, Brenda Bakke, Dick Miller, and John Schuck), the science fiction comedy Idiocracy (2006, with stunts by Lin Oeding), and coordinated the stunts for the independent film Le Full Palaa.

Slaughter played a Vampire in an episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer under stunt coordinator Jeff Pruitt and director James Whitmore, Jr. and performed stunts in Profiler, OP Center, and a music video for Snoop Doggy Dogg.
