Lya III was the third planet in the Lya system. Lya III was the location of a Federation starbase. Vice Admiral Haden was based at the starbase on Lya III. (TNG: "The Defector")
According to the Star Trek: Star Charts, on page 47, Lya III was located in the Lya system. This was a binary star system that consisted of two A-type main-sequence stars. The system was located in the Alpha Quadrant.
Lya Station Alpha might be associated with this starbase.
