M. Forbes was a Human male who served in the Military Assault Command Operations as a soldier during the mid-22nd century. Under the command of Major J. Hayes, Forbes was assigned to the MACO detachment aboard the NX-class Enterprise in 2153 for the mission into the Delphic Expanse. Forbes was killed in action during a fight against an Xindi-Reptilian aboard the Xindi superweapon on February 13, 2154.

On February 13, 2154, Lieutenant Malcolm Reed asked the MACOs for volunteers to join the mission to board the Xindi superweapon. All the MACOs volunteered, so Reed chose Forbes, M. Romero and W. Woods. Forbes was killed during the mission when stabbed by a Xindi-Reptilian during hand-to-hand combat. (ENT: "Countdown", "Zero Hour")

Forbes was played by stunt actor Michael J. O'Laskey, who received no credit for his appearance.
