Clark had a Starfleet officer, Captain Margaret Clark, named after her. Her name can be seen on casualty reports in many Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episodes, such as "In the Pale Moonlight".
While in the comics industry, she wrote issues of "Critical Mass", "Doctor Zero", "St. George", and co-wrote "The Punisher/Captain America: Blood and Glory" in 1992.
