Mark "M.D." Bright (born 27 December 1955; age 68) is comic book artist who illustrated three covers for DC Comics' second volume Star Trek: The Original Series comic: "The First Thing We Do...", "... Let's Kill All the Lawyers!" and "Trial and Error!" (the Trial of James T. Kirk trilogy).

Beginning his career at Marvel Comics, Bright became known to DC fans for years of work on various Green Lantern books, when that series was relaunched in the late 1980s. He was one of the key artists involved in Milestone Comics, a 1990s imprint that promoted superheroes with a greater degree of cultural diversity than was normally found in comics of the day.
