Mark Holton was born in 1958 in Oklahoma. He played the Bolian orderly in the Deep Space Nine episode "Nor the Battle to the Strong".

One of his earliest television appearances was in an episode of the short-lived Superboy, starring fellow DS9 guest performers Salome Jens and Sherman Howard.
