Mark Takeo Kosakura (born 24 December 1965; age 58) is an actor and model who appeared as a Starfleet ensign in the Star Trek: The Next Generation fourth season episodes "Devil's Due" and "The Nth Degree". He received no credit for his appearances. Kosakura was also scheduled to appear in the episode "Clues" as the engineer named Nelson but on the revised call sheet he was replaced by fellow background actor Rachen Assapiomonwait. He was also scheduled to appear in the episode "Identity Crisis" in scenes on the bridge but was replaced by actor Greg Kishi.

Kosakura was born in Orange County, California and attended the Saddleback College in Mission Viejo, California. He studied acting and acting techniques under coaches such as Sal Romeo, R.J. Adams, and Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa and started to work in the entertainment industry in 1985.

Among his television work were featured parts in General Hospital, Erase the Hate, Planet X, Buzz L.A., Beverly Hills, 90210, and Carol & Company (1990). His film work includes the crime drama Black Rain (1989, with Stephen Root, Richard Riehle, Tim Kelleher, Keone Young, and Chris Nelson Norris), the comedy Dave (1993, with Frank Langella, Parley Baer, Stefan Gierasch, Stephen Root, Dendrie Taylor, Paul Collins, Peter White, Robin Gammell, and Dan Butler), Terrorgram, the comedy Good Advice (2001, with Estelle Harris, John de Lancie, David Doty, Jonathan Breck, and Gary Combs), and the short film A.W.O.L. (2006, with stunts by Mark Chadwick and Scott Workman).

Beside his work in front of the camera, Kosakura is also a trained voice actor and model for television commercials and print campaigns.
