Founded in 2003, Master Replicas was in its days renowned for its high quality die-cast, limited, 1:1 replicas of the Star Wars light sabers. Apart from those, limited (other scaled) editions of items from the Star Wars, Disney, Spiderman and Muppets franchise were released. In 2006 the company was acquired by Corgi.

In 2003 the company was awarded the right to release highly profiled Star Trek accrouments.
