Maury Sterling (born 1 September 1971; age 52) is the actor who played Tarquin in the Star Trek: Enterprise third season episode "Exile".

Outside of Star Trek, Sterling has appeared on such television programs as Picket Fences (starring Ray Walston and also guest-starring Jeff Corey), Dark Skies (with Tim Kelleher and Deborah May), The Single Guy (starring Olivia d'Abo and Mark Moses), Touched by an Angel (with Mark Kiely), UPN's G vs E (starring Googy Gress and Clayton Rohner), Judging Amy (with Robert Foxworth and Steve Vinovich), CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (with Tom Virtue), Crossing Jordan (with Miguel Ferrer, Susan Gibney, and Wallace Shawn), Without a Trace (with Juliana Donald, Daniel Dae Kim, and Jennifer Savidge), Six Feet Under (with James Cromwell and Pat Healy), Nip/Tuck (with Armin Shimerman), Charmed (with John de Lancie and Elizabeth Dennehy), Deadwood (with Larry Cedar, Brad Dourif, Alice Krige, Paula Malcomson, Leon Rippy, and Titus Welliver), and 24 (with James Cromwell, Gregory Itzin and Alexander Siddig). He recently had a recurring role on ER, playing the role of Dr. Nelson. Those he has worked with on the series include Steven Culp, Daniel Dae Kim, and Leland Orser.

His feature film credits include Outbreak (1995, with Tim Ransom), Bulletproof (1996), Imposter (2002, with Rosalind Chao, Golden Brooks, Tracey Walter, and Clarence Williams III), Hart's War (2002), Frankie and Johnny Are Married (2004, with Natalia Nogulich), and Smokin' Aces (2006, with Joseph Ruskin and Chris Pine).

Sterling is a member of the Buffalo Nights Theatre Company, as is his fellow Enterprise guest performer Kara Zediker. [1] In late 2002, Sterling and Zediker co-starred in their company's production of Robert Fieldsteel's Crazy Drunk. [2] [3]
