Melona IV

Melona IV was a Class M planet in the Melona system. The USS Enterprise-D delivered Federation colonists and supplies to the planet, along with Enterprise crew, including Commander Riker and Lieutenant Commander Data to establish a basic settlement for the colonists.
Melonia IV was to be the site of the Melona colony which was to be established in 2368. The site was characterised by grassy hills and small lakes. It also featured several subterranean caverns that were rich with kelbonite and fistrium.
Melona IV was stripped of all life that year by an attack from the Crystalline Entity, which claimed the life of two colonists, one of them being a civilian engineer by the name of Carmen Davila. (TNG: "Silicon Avatar")
