This is a page to discuss the suggestion to delete "Actinium".

  • If you are suggesting a page for deletion, add your initial rationale to the section "Deletion rationale".
  • If you want to discuss this suggestion, add comments to the section "Discussion".
  • If a consensus has been reached, an admin will explain the final decision in the section "Admin resolution".

In all cases, please make sure to read and understand the deletion policy before editing this page.

Deletion rationale

No episodes (that I can find) reference "actinium." They reference actinides, which may be unrelated in the 24th century. This should be deleted for the same reason we deleted Einsteinium and all those other unmentioned elements years ago.--Tim Thomason 18:45, 23 December 2006 (UTC)

Discussion

It is cited on Elements by atomic number and Elements by symbol as being from "The Mind's Eye". We need to re-watch the episode, find a reference, or have Jorg find a background image, or delete it, and stop pretending we have a citation. --OuroborosCobra talk 19:05, 23 December 2006 (UTC)

  • Delete. They make no reference to the element in question. for all we know, Actinide is the Klingon word for "sensor jammer". The actinides in the asteroids provide positive protection against our sensors is the only reference we have, that is cited. --6/6 Neural Transceiver 23:54, 27 December 2006 (UTC)
