Michael Bailey Smith (born 2 November 1957; age 66) is an actor who appeared as a native of Hanon IV in the Star Trek: Voyager third season episode "Basics, Part II".

Smith is perhaps best known for role as Belthazor and Shax during the third season of Charmed. He also played the role of Ben Grimm (The Thing) in The Fantastic Four, which was filmed in 1994 but not released. That same year, he co-starred in Cyborg 3: The Recycler opposite fellow Star Trek alumni Zach Galligan, Richard Lynch, Malcolm McDowell, and Bill Quinn.

He first broke into acting with his role as "Super Freddy" in A Nightmare On Elm Street 5: The Dream Child opposite Lisa Wilcox. He has appeared in many films since, including Best of the Best 3: No Turning Back (1996) with Christopher McDonald and Mark Rolston, My Favorite Martian (1999) starring Christopher Lloyd, Wallace Shawn, and Ray Walston, Men in Black II (2002, with Jack Kehler), and The Master of Disguise (2002) with Erick Avari, Larry Cedar, and Star Trek: The Next Generation star Brent Spiner. Besides Voyager and Charmed, Smith's other genre TV credits include appearances on Babylon 5 working with Andreas Katsulas, Stephen Macht, Bill Mumy, and Marshall R. Teague), The X-Files, Seven Days (with Jerome Butler, Charley Lang, Norman Lloyd, and Alan Scarfe), Diagnosis: Murder (with Susan Gibney), and Roswell (with William Sadler). He has also been seen on Wings (with Steven Weber), Murphy Brown, Philly (with Ron Canada, Joanna Cassidy, and Kristanna S. Loken), The Division (with Dey Young, Malcolm in the Middle, The O.C., and Desperate Housewives (with Teri Hatcher, Mark Moses, Wallace Shawn, and Alfre Woodard).

He more recently starred in the 2006 remake of The Hills Have Eyes, which also featured Robert Joy.
