Template:Realworld Michael I. Wagner (30 September 1947 – 23 April 1992; age 44) wrote several episodes of Star Trek: The Next Generation. He was also Co-Executive Producer for the series in 1989. Wagner also wrote for Kojak, The Rockford Files and Hill Street Blues. His death was caused by a brain tumor.
