Template:Realworld Michelle Latham was the Location Manager for the Teaser Unit of 2009's Star Trek. She worked exclusively as Location Manager for the locations of the film's teaser trailer, which debuted in theaters on 18 January 2008.

Latham previously worked with Star Trek director and producer J.J. Abrams (among many other members of the Star Trek production team) as an Additional Location Manager on the 2006 Paramount Pictures release, Mission: Impossible III. Latham and other members of the M:i:III location department (including Star Trek location manager Becky Brake and assistant location managers Rob Swenson and Scott Trimble) were given a California on Location Award for their work on the film.

Latham's first Hollywood project was a 1998 independent film titled The Last Call (starring Seymour Cassel), for which she was Location Manager. Her other early film credits include Love Kills (starring Louise Fletcher and Vincent Schiavelli), Some Girl (starring Pamela Segall), Error in Judgment (featuring Paul Dooley), Catfish in Black Bean Sauce (starring Paul Winfield, Tzi Ma, and George D. Wallace), Out in Fifty (featuring James Avery and Ed Lauter), Shiloh 2: Shiloh Season (featuring Raphael Sbarge and Dey Young), Foolish (featuring Jonathan Banks), and The Mao Game (starring Kirstie Alley).

As Latham acquired more experience in her field, she began finding work on higher-profile films. She was a location scout on the 2001 crime thriller 15 Minutes, which starred Star Trek: Deep Space Nine's Avery Brooks as well as Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country's Kim Cattrall and TNG guest actor Kelsey Grammer. (It also features Anton Yelchin in a small role.) She was later a Key Assistant Location Manager on the 2001 drama The Majestic, which featured TNG guest star David Ogden Stiers. She has since managed locations for the National Treasure movies (the first featuring Christopher Plummer, the second featuring Bruce Greenwood) and the hit 2007 thriller Disturbia.

In addition to her film credits, Latham has also worked on several popular television series. In 1999, she was Key Assistant Location Manager on the UPN science fiction series G vs. E, and from 1999 through 2002, she was a location manager on the sci-fi series The X-Files. She followed this with brief stints on CSI: Miami, Monk, and House (the latter starring Jennifer Morrison). She more recently procured locations for the Lifetime series State of Mind.

Most recently, Latham scouted shooting locations for The Stepfather, a remake of the 1987 film starring Terry O'Quinn. She was also a key location manager and location scout on the upcoming comedy Spring Breakdown. She is currently scouting locations for the film Obsessed, which stars Bruce McGill.
