MicroProse was a US video game developer that published software from 1982 to 2001. They were acquired by Spectrum HoloByte in 1993, and both brands continued as separate lines until 1996, when "Spectrum HoloByte" was dropped in favor of "MicroProse". MicroProse was acquired by Hasbro Interactive in 1998 and continued on as a separate brand until Hasbro Interactive was absorbed by Infogrames in 2001, at which time the logo was discontinued.
