... as the Executive Officer of the Excelsior

Miguel Ferrer (born 7 February 1955; age 69) played the executive officer of the USS Excelsior in Star Trek III: The Search for Spock. He also appeared as Bob Morton in the sci-fi film RoboCop with Ronny Cox, Robert DoQui, Kurtwood Smith, Peter Weller, and Ray Wise.

In 1993, he appeared in the film Hot Shots! Part Deux with Ben Lemon, Mitchell Ryan and Brenda Bakke. He is the son of legendary actor José Ferrer and singer Rosemary Clooney and thus a first cousin of actor George Clooney.

In 1994, he plays the criminal Carl Quigley in the Disney movie Blank Check along with Brian Bonsall who plays the protagonist.

He voices the Weather Wizard in the DC Comics Animated Universe. He also played Lloyd Henreid in the TV miniseries Stephen King's The Stand alongside Matt Frewer.

He is likely best known for his roles on Twin Peaks as Agent Albert Rosenfield and Crossing Jordan as Dr. Garret Macy. In 2007, he became the titular character's boss on Bionic Woman, where he also clashed with former Voyager actor, Mark A. Sheppard.
