The Minosians were a thriving, technologically advanced humanoid civilisation from the planet Minos. The Minosians gained notoriety as arms merchants during the Erselrope wars, providing advanced weaponry such as the Echo Papa 607 which were sold under the banner "Superiority through superior firepower".
It was discovered in 2364 that the Minosians were subsequently eradicated by their own weapon systems when these went out of control. A few Minosian artifacts including the Echo Papa 607 system survived and were responsible for the destruction of the USS Drake and attempted to destroy the USS Enterprise-D.
