The mint julep is an alcoholic cocktail from the southern United States on the planet Earth. A mint julep is traditionally made of four ingredients: mint, bourbon, sugar, and water. Leonard McCoy was a big fan of mint juleps; he prepared one while relaxing under the influence of the Omicron spores. As soon as the spore's effect wore off, however, he tossed the drink aside.
