Actor Mitchell Ryan was born in Louisville, Kentucky, USA on 11 January 1928. He played Kyle Riker in TNG: "The Icarus Factor."

He is known for his appearances in Lethal Weapon and Dharma & Greg, as well as for his role as Burke Devlin on the 1960s cult serial Dark Shadows, which also featured TNG guest star Kathryn Leigh Scott. In 1993, he appeared in the film Hot Shots! Part Deux with Ben Lemon, Miguel Ferrer and Brenda Bakke. He appeared with Lemon again in the 1997 film, Liar, Liar along with Anne Haney, Eric Pierpoint and Chip Mayer
