Moe Howard was a 20th century Earth comedy actor who portrayed the fictional character Moe, known as the leader of the comedy group called The Three Stooges.

Stron, one of three Vulcans who crash-landed in Carbon Creek during 1957, commented that the son of one Mrs. Garrett called him "Moe" because his hairstyle resembled the bowl-cut worn by this actor. (ENT: "Carbon Creek")
