Lamont "Monty" Cox (born 1 June 1940; age 83) is a stuntman, stunt actor, and stunt coordinator who performed stunts in Star Trek: Insurrection.

Cox is a well known animal wrangler and trainer and worked on films such as Grizzly (1976), Bird on a Wire (1990), and In the Army Now (1994). In 2007, he was nominated for a Taurus World Stunt Award for best fire stunt in Déjà Vu.

Among his stunt resume are films such as Mountain Family Robinson (1979), Gridlock (1980), The Ice Pirates (1984, with Mary Crosby, Ron Perlman, Robert Symonds, Ian Abercrombie, and stunts by Kenny Endoso, John Gillespie, and Lane Leavitt), Shakedown (1988), Elvira: Mistress of the Dark (1988, with W. Morgan Sheppard, Phil Rubenstein, Frank Collison, Eve Smith, Dick Miller, and stunts by Rick Avery, Greg Barnett, and Tom Huff), The Hunt for Red October (1990, with Gates McFadden), The Last Boy Scout (1991, with Bruce McGill, Frank Collison, Frank Kopyc, Jack Kehler, Manny Perry, Johnny C.
