"Moon over Rigel VII" was a song with fairly simple lyrics, apparently inspired by a natural satellite of the planet Rigel VII.

In 2287, while camping in Yosemite National Park, James T. Kirk suggested singing this song around the campfire, among other songs such as "Row, Row, Row Your Boat" and "Pack Up Your Troubles". (Star Trek V: The Final Frontier)
