The Mordock Strategy was a notable strategy devised by a Benzite named Mordock during the 2360s.
In 2364, Wesley Crusher was awestruck to meet the deviser of the Mordock Strategy on Relva VII. At one point, Wes and Mordock discussed it over lunch. (TNG: "Coming of Age")
In the aired version of the episode, the only dialog that referred to this strategy referred solely to its name and nothing more. The story behind the strategy is revealed in the third draft of the script (cited as the "final draft", but evidently not), where it was stated that the Mordock Strategy was a move found in the game of Benzite chess and it was because of this move, Mordock was known as a legend on the "Galactic Computer Network".
