Mustard was a Human condiment made primarily from the ground seeds of the mustard plant.
Mustard was served, alongside ketchup and salt and pepper, at the Pine Tree Bar and Grill in Carbon Creek in 1957. (ENT: "Carbon Creek")
In 2367, while re-enacting a scene from A Christmas Carol on the holodeck of the USS Enterprise-D, Lieutenant commander Data, as Ebenezer Scrooge, told Jacob Marley 's ghost that he didn't believe in him, for "You may be an undigested bit of beef, a blot of mustard, a crumb of cheese, a fragment of an underdone potato."
