The USS Ptolemy (NCC-3801) was a Ptolemy-class Federation starship. (Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan)
- Named after Claudius Ptolemaeus, an ancient Greek astronomer. The registry, like the class, was originally derived from the Star Fleet Technical Manual.
