The Nanut was a Tygarian freighter that was in service in the late 24th century. Its executive officer in the 2370s was Romah Doek.

In early 2370, it docked at Deep Space 9. The Nanut was on its way to the Gamma Quadrant for a two year voyage there. Li Nalas stowed away aboard the Nanut, but was discovered. Li had planned to leave the ship in the Gamma Quadrant. (DS9: "The Homecoming")

According to the script for the episode, the pronunciation for Nanut was "NAH-nut". [1]
